About Seminar

National Seminar on “Sustainability & Innovations in Semiconductor & Quantum Physics (NSQP – 2.0)”
Bhagwan Parshuram Institute of Technology (BPIT), 8th April 2025

Following the resounding success of the inaugural National Seminar on Innovations in the Field of Semiconductor & Quantum Physics (NSQP – 2024) held on 6th March 2024, BPIT proudly hosted the second edition—NSQP 2.0—on 8th April 2025. The first edition saw the convergence of over 130 participants and expert speakers who shed light on cutting-edge developments in quantum and semiconductor physics, laying a strong foundation for future scholarly discourse.

Building on that momentum, the Department of Applied Physics at Bhagwan Parshuram Institute of Technology organized NSQP – 2.0 under the aegis of Viksit Bharat. This edition focused on the theme of “Sustainability & Innovations in Semiconductor & Quantum Physics”, expanding the dialogue to include sustainability alongside technological innovation. The seminar was graced by distinguished speakers including Prof. (Dr.) Manoj Saxena (Dept. of Electronics, DDU College, DU), Dr. Om Pal (Associate Professor, Dept. of Computer Science, DU), and Ms. Pooja Khandelwal, an environmentalist and sustainability consultant. Their keynote addresses covered a wide spectrum—from quantum computing and AI-driven data analysis to green approaches in semiconductor design.

The event also featured vibrant poster presentations under themes such as “Growth, Challenges, and Technical Advancements in the Semiconductor Industry” and “Role of AI in Quantum Computing, Data Analysis, and Machine Learning”. With enthusiastic participation from students, researchers, and academicians across the country, NSQP – 2.0 served as a dynamic platform for collaboration and innovation.

BPIT continues its commitment to promoting scientific research and knowledge-sharing, cementing its role as a hub for academic excellence in the field of semiconductor and quantum physics.
